About Jonathan[]

Jonathan is the owner and station manager of WWJC-TV, as well as the news director of the evening news telecast on the station, where he's hired Nigel Wick (who also happens to be his new son-in-law, as Wick married one of his daughters for money), as the weather presenter in a character who wears a kilt and that goes by the nickname of "Scotty McRainshowers".

Jonathan seems to berate Wick the same way he did his employees when he was the personnel manager at the old Winfred-Lauder corporate office, as he's willing to put up with Jonathan's demands, just as long as he continues to keep him employed in some capacity, either at the Christian TV station Jonathan and his family owns, or at the new Winfred-Lauder, an iden which Drew came up with, and solicited he and Jonathan for financial backing. All just as long as Wick, as was seemingly the agreement between he and father-in-law Jonathan that his marriage to his daughter, whom he admitted to Drew, has never been consumated, and that he stay in Cleveland, and she stays in Toledo, with the rest of the in-laws!
